Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo titanium alloy contains -stabilizing element Al, neutral elements Sn and Zr, isomorphous -stabilizing element Mo, and eutectoid -stabilizing element Si. Mo can improve room temperature and high temperature tensile strength and enhance stability; the combined effect of Al, Sn and Zr can maintain long-term high temperature strength and creep; the addition of Si will cause the precipitation of a certain silicide dispersed phase, which is beneficial to improve high temperature creep strength.

Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo titanium alloy has a high strength until 540 degree , exceeding that of TA11 alloy. Its specific strength is superior to that of TA14 alloy, while its creep performance is better than that of TA11 alloy and is comparable to that of TA14 alloy. The alloy has good processing and welding properties. The semi-finished products produced include plates, bars, forgings, rings and castings. It is mainly used to manufacture compressor casings and aircraft skins of aircraft engines, with a maximum long-term operating temperature of 500 degree .
