This specification covers seamless and welded zirconium and zirconium alloy pipes. The pipes are classified into the following three grades: R60702 - unalloyed zirconium, R60704 - zirconium-tin alloy, and R60705 - zirconium-niobium alloy. Seamless pipes shall be manufactured by any seamless method capable of producing a product that meets the specified requirements. Pipes containing welded seams or other welded joints shall comply with the regulations. Pipes shall be supplied in an annealed or stress relieved condition. Materials shall conform to the chemical composition requirements specified. Materials represented by test samples shall conform to the tensile properties specified.
